COMBINED SERVICE and CELEBRATION on SUNDAY, JULY 5
Please mark your calendars well in advance for a very special Sunday on July 5. To ensure everyone can participate as one community, we are hosting a single, combined worship service at 9:30 AM. This means our early service attendees will meet one hour later than usual, while our late service attendees will meet one hour earlier.
This combined service marks Alan's last official service with us after 11 months of dedicated hard work and leadership. Following the worship service, Alan will officially bless our newly renovated Rectory. Afterward, we will open the doors of the Rectory to all parishioners so everyone can finally tour the building and see the wonderful makeover completed over the past several months.
Following the tour, we will gather in our newly renovated hall for a special social time to bid a fond farewell to Alan, Diana, and Trixie. We will not be hosting our usual full lunch, however, we have several meaningful moments planned to ensure this fellowship time is truly memorable for everyone.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Amber and Quality Foods Comox
St Peter’s church and specifically the group of volunteers who operate the food shelf program , wish to say thank you to the Management of Quality Foods Comox as represented by Amber. The program welcomes 25-30 individuals each month who need food assistance. We had run out of bags for our customers to fill when Quality Foods generously donated a pallet of paper bags for our use. Again many thanks! |

Donations for Food Shelf
Right now we'd particularly appreciate donations of canned food items, such as vegetables or fruit. We are also in need of rice, peanut butter and jam, cookies or crackers and snack food. Most urgently, we are running extremely low on toilet paper and would greatly appreciate any donations of this essential item.
Thank you to everyone who's been stopping by with food! |
