Coffee Time
As many of you are aware, the newsletter two weeks ago included a notice that, as a result of a lack of volunteers, the Coffee Time after the 10:30 service would end at the beginning of March.
Fortunately, some more parishioners have agreed to join the 10:30 Coffee Rota, for which we are very grateful. This facilitates the continuation of the 10:30 Coffee Time. However, we are still very much in need of a few more names so as not to over tax our volunteers!
One of the possible impediments to folks coming forward is the need to put the tables and chairs away after the 10:30 Coffee Time. It is also a task of varying difficulty for those who are already on the Rota.
In order to eliminate this part of the Sunday morning process, the Monday Men's Bible Study, has agreed to put away the furniture, much of which they require themselves, and which they are currently putting up already at the beginning of both bible studies.
Effective immediately, please leave the tables and chairs out and do not put them away each Sunday morning. Thanks!

Partners in Mission for FebruaryColdest Night of the Year, February 28, 2026 In a few days our St. Peter’s Coldest Night of the Year team will brave the elements and walk 5 kilometers in support of the hurting and unhoused in the Comox Valley. The two not-for-profit agencies that CNOY supports here in the Valley are the Comox Valley Transition Society and Dawn to Dawn Action Against Homelessness Society. Our vision here at St. Peter’s is to reflect the love of Jesus; to be caring, inclusive and just. And the reading from Micah that was read last Sunday reminds us of our mandate to do justice and to love kindness, in other words: to care for our neighbours in need. Fundraising to care for the hungry, hurt and unhoused in the Valley through by means of this walk is one way we work out this vision. Please join our walking team or if winter walks are not your thing, then support this worthy cause by donating to one of our team members. Here is the link to our donation page, just scroll down and click on the circle next to one of the walkers: For more infomation visit: https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?teamID=1040662
