From the Warden's Corner...
St Peter’s continues to be a very active Parish these days as we transition to a new Rector. Thanks to the energy and dedication of our many volunteers, Parish Council, Search Committee and part time interim Incumbent, Rev Alan Naylor, St Peter’s is thriving and busier than ever despite being without a full time Rector!
To help us keep up with this activity, the Wardens have asked David Duncan to serve as ”Secretary to the Parish Council”. The position of Council Secretary is permitted in the Canons by appointment as non-voting and is a governance support role rather than a clerical one.
David’s focus will be to oversee communications within the parish, help prepare for the Annual Vestry Meeting in February and coordinate the nominations process for next year’s Wardens, Council members and Synod Delegates. (Council meeting minutes will continue to be taken and filed by our Admin Assistant, Sara Bronson.) Thank you David for assisting us with your administrative gifts through this time of change!

Looking for a Label Maker
Yvonne has been hard at work cleaning up and organizing the kitchen. As part of that effort, she'd like to update the labels on the cupboards. If anyone has a label maker they're willing to lend to the office for a few weeks we would be very grateful! Please email the office if you have one you're willing to lend. |
