Lay Leadership Training

Many people would appreciate having some spiritual and practical training in a number of aspects of our life together. The following will be offered over the coming months, three (or four) of them in-house, one is provided on Zoom by the diocese. This training will equip us to be stronger in worship and in our personal walk with God. Interest in any of the following can be indicated by emailing me or Mike. It would be helpful if you would let me know if you MIGHT be interested, so I can plan accordingly.

Rule of Life How to put together a personal rule of life to enhance your walk with God.

Prayer Walking - Theory and practice. Many of you have asked what prayer walking means and how I do it. This is your opportunity to find out what I do spiritually when I go walking and experience some of it yourself.

Intercession / Prayers of the People There is some demand for a repeat of the course I ran last year - I am happy to do so if a few of you are interested.

Lay Worship Leading (A course offered by the diocese on Zoom from Mid-September to November). Over the last several months, I have been seeking out and nurturing vocations in our parish. Leading worship isn't a one-woman activity, it takes a whole church family. Maybe you have sensed a call to help lead services but don't know what that might involve. Doing this course may help you in your discernment as you learn more about what is involved. If you want to participate you will need to contact me in the first instance, as numbers are limited and you will need my recommendation to get a place on the course. See attachment for more details.
