Earth Day is celebrated around the world with the aim of encouraging everyone to take practical action to make a difference.

The third annual Earth Day Event at St. Peter's Church in Comox will host a number of local environmental groups showcasing ideas for what we can do to move towards a more sustainable future, with music, video, presentations, activities, and refreshments. 

Monday, April 22 from 1p - 5pm in the gardens of St. Peter’s Church at 218 Church Street in Comox.

Outdoor activities will be brought into the hall or church if it rains.

12:00 – 1:00 – Community Groups – set up tents / tables

1:00 – 2:30 – Public connecting with groups – tour tents / tables

3:00 – 3:30 - Earth Day Creation Celebration / Meditation – Rev Sulin Milne

3:30 – 4:00 Group presentations (5 or 6 of the groups, 5 minutes – 4 minutes present, 1 min. questions)

4:00 - 5:00 - Public connecting with groups – tour tents / table
